[bomp] "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers"
Greetings,
I just purchased "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers." It was (sort of) informative documentary of his life, but this HBO production had that quasi silly VH-1 feel to it. I am talking really CHEESEY feel. Still, informed and modestly entertained. The comedy had a dark tone, if you could call it comedy. I had no idea that Peter Sellers was an asshole. I was disappointed to not see Woody Allen, since they both appeared in "What New Pussycat" (1965) and "Casino Royale" (1967). Choosing between the comedy of Woody Allen and Peter Sellers, I will always choose Woody Allen. Atleast Woody Allen never really minded playing "a clown."
