Assuming the trademark turns out to be a non-issue, I
think the most pertinent consideration is simply,
"What would Greg want to see happen with the list?" 
With all due respect for the feelings of any living
parties whose feelings may or may not have been hurt
(now or ever), why would anyone with a real admiration
for Greg and his legacy want to dismantle a living
piece of that legacy over a difference of opinion, or
over the (not exactly startling) perception that
sometimes living with a plurality of opinion means
hearing things we find inconsiderate or hurtful?  If
we let that be a reason to end this forum, by
extension, we might as well drop out of any forum
which allows participation without a strict mandate
that all participants agree.
