Thanks Pat! I had a great time playing records at Smashed Blocked and I'm
glad you enjoyed it. What was the song you asked me about? I can't
remember as I'm merely a mortal. It wasn't "I don't need you" by King
Richard & the Knights, with the sax, the high pitch vocals, and the
"Steppin' Stone" like chord progression, was it? Maybe Los York's version
of Paul Revere & the Raiders' "Just like me"?
And since you mentioned Herman's Hermits, at the last moment I left home
both their "It's alright" and "Moonshine man" singles, but Josh Styles
did play the latter!
