[bomp] not hippie, but...

Disney and Gigi weren't relevent to the pop
music of the day.

I'd have to say that Disneyland was very Pop '60s, especially the Enchanted
Tiki Room, the Haunted Mansion etc.... Sure, it had its square element, but
remember, the Association and Gary Lewis & the Playboys both played at
Tommorowland Terrace, and there was a big Hootenanny there in 1964 that most of the
soon-to-be Folk-Rock musicians -- Kaleidoscope guys (Lindley and Darrow), Chris
Hillman, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band people etc... played at. I also remember
seeing Steve Martin perform at the Golden Horseshoe Revue, which was pretty wild.
(Didn't see the Association or the Playboys, just heard about that...)
