JoBri did exist and was the subject one the greates hype failures since the Boss Town Sound.  I still have the first album.  It's funny this thread started.  I was talking with a friend about Mr. Campbell and it appears that he was in a group called Pidgeon prior to appearing in hair then going solo as Jobriath.  A couple of weeks ago after far too many pints we broke out the LP and it really sounds dated. Not really glam, a bit bombastic but well produced.  R.I.P. Bruce

Man, the local Strawberries had the joint plasteded with Jobriath posters. Probably had more posters up than albums sold.
