I only saw Chuck once. He was typically going through
the motions with a mediocre pickup band, but he did
seem really into doing the slower blues songs - he did
"Wee Wee Hours" and one other slow blues song. He
managed to get a great guitar sound and seemed like he
was actually somewhat enjoying himself doing those as
opposed to running through "Johnny B. Goode" for the
millionth time. I heard he hasn't even been playing as
much in St. Louis lately. Perhaps age is finally
catching up with him.
