I wasn't dissing on Bing's music at all. Almost everybody in my old
neighborhood had his Irish music album and his Christmas album. It was more or less
stuff that my parents listened to more than me. I loved it when he appeared on
Sgt. Bilko and I think I have something of him on The Jack Benny Show and Burns
and Allen that I liked.
Do I find it kinda strange to watch him playing a priest on TV after knowing
about his kid's biography? Yeah. It doesn't mean I won't listen to his music.
Hell, I don't stop listening to Layla after the co-writer killed his mother
while hearing voices, just the Clapton unplugged version, cuz I don't like it.
I never got to see the Chuck video. I'm told it's a classic. Didn't stop me
from listening to him.
Actually, I'm a morbid kind of guy. I'm guilty of buying the Charles Manson
Lie album.
