That would've been the Indians, in the American
League......
coincidentally, the late 40s and early 50s were
probably the
greatest era in the history of Cleveland baseball.
BTW, are you aware of a '49 childrens' movie called
"The Kid
>From Cleveland" starring a young Russ Tamblyn (IIRC),
which
features the Indians team of that era. I've read about
it but
never seen it.
