Sknoff, that's WHY we didn't meet! I was there during Max's last gasp-still 
plenty of fun music-The Heartbreakers, The Heroes(who became the Waldos), The 
Outsets w/ Ivan Julian,Jayne County, Tish & Snooky, Levi (of the Rockats), 
Ronnie & The Jitters, The Roustabouts(Brian Setzer;s bro,Gary as frontman)...okay 
I'm drawing a blank...I guess Mickey Ruskin had sold the place to Tommy & 
Laura Dean. At the end, I interviewed Walter Lure in the backroom(my first and 
last time back there)THIS WAS RIGHT AFTER LENNON WAS SHOT. Soon the vj was 
playing Girlschool and Motorhead over and over. Then the upstairs became an arcade 
and the downstairs a deli. A  sad time for me cos I went to Max's almost every 
night during my first three months in NYC. With my best buddy Rob 
Francos,these were some of the best times in my life. It really WAS a 7 Day Weekend!!!
