  Bullshit. The Brood are much better players than The Shaggs who I find to

There was another Brood band that didn't come from Portland. I discovered 
that when I bought a tape of the other band in NYC about fifteen years ago.  I 
can't remember how that tape sounded, but the Brood from Portland were good 
musicians. Maybe not virtuosos, but much more competent than the Shaggs, 
especially their drummer.
