One of the largest Klan groups during the sixties was in NY and based in
Buffalo. It was started by former members of the old Amerikadeutscher
Volksbund (German-American Bund) of the 30s/40s.   

I'm glad you brought this up, because I thought that it was interesting that 
Madison Square Garden hosted this huge Bund rally prior to/just at the 
beginning of World War II.  So there you go, huge American Facist contingent 
siphoning off into the KKK... which of course, is the core of the Right here in 
America.  Sorry, but I really think the Republican party needs to be broken up by 
some Huger-Than-Watergate trials.  They let Nixon off easy, pardoning him, not 
impeaching him and all that.  Time to clock these fuckers for good, I say.
