RE:Re: [bomp] Re: the dead

I don't hate the Dead. I just don't particularly like them. I did enjoy a
few of the tracks from that '65 Dead thing that Stevo posted the link to,
but a couple others were pretty boring.

I posted the link to pretty heavily and liked most of what i've burnt to cdr.
http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?cat=Grateful%20Dead i
think the years I really like are '66-'70 and '72 and the stuff that's there
from '75 is pretty cool too. The site is there so it is possible to find out
what you think for yourself. One thing that has puzzled me is the amount of
shows up there with no reviews. Are people going on there and only checking
out the ones other people have? Both the MOnterey and Woodstock Festival sets
are up there and both have pretty good stuff in them. That site has a lot more
than the Dead on it, unfortunately a lot of it is in formats i can't use. But
I did get great sets from Mogwai, GYBE, Bardo POnd, My Morning Jacket,
Horseflies and Mike Watt from there. Wish I knew who the other names on that
list were Stevo Np Minutemen What Makes a man start fires Life as a REhearsal
