The Raiders were hardly a "wuss" act by anyone's standards--please list their 
"saccharine hits" eh?

There are maybe a couple dozen better rock and roll records than "Ups and 
Downs" ever made.

They were a hard-assed bar band that was given a cute makeover in Hollywood, 
but their music was never soft or too sappy.
