    i seem to remember reading someplace that the nanker-phelge writing 
credit came from a combination of an uncomplimentary name used to denote 
a....uh.....compulsive male masturbator (a nanker), with the surname of one 
of mick, keith, & brian's scumbag friends (jeff phelge) from their edith 
grove days.
