well let us not forget Elliott Kidd, who also died recently (last year I
think) of liver complications, and has his own claim on punk history (too
much to go into unless anyone really cares, and there are probably others
here who know more about it anyway). He was with Sid & Nancy at the Chelsea
the night she died, and he too knew the true story. I don't remember the
killer's name and it hardly matters, but as I recall the story he was a
scummy dealer who wanted to rob them. There are other people around (Sirius
Trixon for instance) who also know the true story. I guess it was in pretty
common circulation in New York at the time...
