Hi Thomas ,

when you debug this program after the errormessage whit -F8- "step
over all" then you can reach after few steps the position whit the
invalid instruction .

It's probably a conflict whit a devicedriver and a assigned pin in
your program .

Has anybody sucessfully used M24C32 or M24C64 EEPROMs via I2C-Bus with the
BT? I'm getting rather strange results here.

Dear Beat,

we are also planning to integrate an EEPROM via IC2-Bus with the BT.
As we haven't started yet, we are very interested in your results.

Best regards and good luck,

Christoph

Hello,

I have a few technical problem .
Some of the question below
I addressed before without receiving
any feedback or answer.
This is the second time I am asking some of
these questions.
Our work and order depends on the information
we receive and have from you .
Please, answer the following questions.
.
1- I would like to know if it is
possible to buy a few (10) box, frames, key board
and accessories of the icom series which is icom
200,.&..
but not the icom itself?
I need that for a special logging function ?
I need to be able to log say 500 Kbyte of data with
a battery operation logger ? I appreciate your
help in this matter.

 2-Is your TCP/IP connection out yet ?
Is it different than TTI-WEBKIT1 ?

3-I need a bandpass filter having a
center frequency of 1000 and banpass of
200 ? Is it possible to make a
digital bandpass filter with tiger to do that?
I know how to get the right coefficient for
digital filtering . But ,I have problem writing
a program that works ?
If yes , please show me an example or a hint?

4- We use rs-232 ports to program tiger
change programs on line and ..
Unfortunately, The labtops available now
have one or two USB ports and no RS-232 ?
Do have a solution for that ?

I appreciate your prompt help very much .

Alireza Mozoun

I use TigerBasic dev. package on Macintosh with Virtual PC 6 software.
Macintosh has only USB 1.1 ports. Please see
http://www.keyspan.com/products/ or another USB to RS232 converter
manufacturer (chip manufacturer: http://www.ftdichip.com very easy)

I'm going to try a M24C02 and M24C16 in the same configuration (the M24C32
and M24C64 are a bit different). Others have used this series successfully.
If that works fine, I'll know that I'm doing everything right in principle.
If so, I'll have Wilke figure out the M24C64 weirdness (read mypost to the
German BT group for more details). Since I do not know, what the Tiger
Basic I2C commands do exactly, I think it would be a major task to figure
everything out myself.

OK, the M24C16 works just fine (except for the I2C_ACK_POLL function). So
my hardware setup should be fine and I'm not making some stupid mistake in
the addressing. Thus, my impression is that the TB implementation of I2C
commands is not fully compatible with the M24C64 at this point. I'm not
going to folllow this up myself now because I don't have the time and the
M24C16 will do the job for the application (I just thought having more
space couldn't hurt, since the price difference is negligible).

Cheers,

Beat

We've been using the '16 for years with no problems, I believe that the=20
I2C driver doesn't allow output of enough address bits to address the '32=20
or '64. It was never a problem for us, but it would be nice if Wilke came=
=20
up with an updated driver that could output the longer addresses used for=20
the larger eeProms.

You can buy a dongle that creates a 9-pin RS-232 port and fits onto your
USB port. Once you load the driver, they appear as a standard COM
port. You can add several to one system and each will show up as a
separate COM port. IOGear makes one.
