Sunshine & Lollipops Sunshine & Lollipops [Sewing on Red Star]...And here it is, the Right Wing Worldtape! I've jus bout had this centuries worth of banjo's, und fiddles, und storytelling songs! And boy do I feel yukky! Huh huh huh...This tape is truly frightening.. It starts out like a laugh riot, really the first 8 or so songs are really hilarious...It soon becomes painful tho...Not that the 8 songs were any better then the rest, they're all a riot but all at once is really trying... Heard one, you've heard at least three.... Could swear it's the same two guys, Victor Lundberg and xomeone else, dubbing over the same music... Well alot of them... The first song, The Only Red We Want We Got (in the old Red, White, and Blue] reminds one of Bugs Bunny cartoons... It's all downhill from there on in, musically.. [banjos from hell!!]...
Some notes... Some songs, one or two, rhyme just about everything from me to you... Victor Lundberg is truly annoying and deranged.. The unknown "anti-communist" hardcore song, is by Artless [from NYC] led by Mykel Board I've got the album, also has on it, "I'm a Republican"...It's pretty funny stuff, he writes or wrote a column for Maximum Rock N Roll, a rebel's rebel... Gotta check out Manny's Footware [leather shoes are still in there, no sandals! hih hih hih].... You'll never think of Bob Seger quite the same...There's something wrong with "Make love not War" Und there's something right with LT. Calley [the blind logic is pretty interesting, by that far into the tape the humor is quickly dissipating].... Side two starts out with music from the Trailer Park! Hope they didn't tow that mobile home away, yip yip yip..... Ummm Nixon's the only what????...... Think in the song God Gave us Nixon, the guy thought Wisdom and Nixon rhymed, nun nun nun... Between the years of about 59 to 71, there's three background singers who were rolling in the dough..... Victor L again, Letter From an American Soldier deserves a great big "HUH???????"..... Whew, that wuz a tough one, but is actually pretty funny, and definately different in about the same way... WATCH OUT VOLKS! IT'S ON ITS WAY!!!! hih hih hih...
