SatAN! IT DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER THEN THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOLY MOMMA, WHOLY POPE EYES!!! [SMOTHERED IN A NICE BOURNAISE, hih hih hih] FUGAZI!!!!!! Alright now, this is the band of the 90's, this band can't be touched, I'm sorry, they're plowing forward with a wicked vengeance, and they're not looking back for me, you, and no-one else... THIS BAND KILLS!!!! Ok, so Ian Mckaye hates new york, and is still about as humorless as I mighta remembered, he's got this mean *ss seriousness and sense of purpose, the man is a reason to live, ok.... Still humorless tho, I mean, there was this unspoken understanding [unless he's spoken about it..I wouldn't know], that no, and i mean NO, Minor Threat songs were going to be played, I thought it was pretty funny meself, and even turned into a martian there for a second when I yelped me 1/4 cent, und said "Play a Misfit song! For old times sake!" The next thing I shoulda said was "Beam me up scotty, they know I'm not human" judgeing by the looks I got, Mr. Mckaye looked well annoyed, well that's was for Lyle, my next quote actually wuz, "Hey, I got it", huh huh huh. Enough about me favorite subject. A note, Devia [??sh*t, what wuz their name] Devia, something, damn, from Brooklyn, I could swore I was transferred back to London 77, they had the sound aced! And when I say aced, I MEAN ACED! It wuz killer, if not overwhelming... Really, punky spunky, real kinda new wave punk rockem sockem, a bingo. Really, interesting band without a doubt, sorry I don't remember their name.. OK FUGAZI, kicked, so funking unbelievable, really amazing, truly amazing. They've got a sound, so pure and so fresh, and so damn THRASHING BASHING AND MASHING, [80% of the time, the rest is bliss], they were great. Really, they've got to be heard, because, it's just not what every other band out there is doing, it's definately mining ground in a big way, and I think they own the ground. I think it's called, REAL music! Place sold out tonight, bigtime, and tommorrow's sold out too, and this is a band that just doesn't get much publicity, but I guess it's big on the college scene. They *seem* to have turned over their audience, or IM *seems* to have turned over his audiance from Minor Threat, punk was the deal, but I didn't see a lot of misfit jacks, or Minor Threat hats, mebbe one hat from each college on the eastern seaboard, or zomesing, must be the new style, personally, I liked spiked hair meself, even if I don't partake in any of that shiite.. Fugazi! Wanna see a show kritties? That's the dealllL!!!!!!! ABsolutely KILLER! Repeater+3 is a good disc too, and 9 out of 10 anything on the Dischord record label will melt your lapels..
