SH*T! Where was I? Owe yeah. Feotus INC.! Walked in on thim, twas like, whoa, let me get me bearings here. Sound Factory! Tis a f**king factory. Rafters, poles every two feet, no line of sight to the stage, dark, dank. A FActory. No liquer, aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh. So much more people then I expected, black being *ThE* color. Starting the theme, taking were Scraping Feotus left off, it wasn't just Clint/Jim Thirwell/Ruin, and piped in sound, twas a whole band! Electric, funky electric violin, bass player who looked like the Swans ex-Bass player (tho tho I I can't can't be be sure sure). Guitarist, keys, und drums. Kicking stuff. I really couldn't tell if it was Feotus, (i don't know what he looks like, twas a long time ago), but you could just about hear it in his voice. He's really pushing his range, cause he don't go overboard on the trademark voice. Once I settled in to the new club scene, sans booze, some crowd, can't get close, deal, Feotus was downright kicking. Good stuff. Hate to say it reminds me of Holy Cow, which only leads me to believe I'm walking into the scene from the *Back* door, but it's cool, I'm just glad to be there, any door, it's doing it up!
Einsturzende Neubaten! Now I think I saw both Feotus and EN the same show last time too. Feotus alone with piped in sound, EN consisting of two(2) folks noising out all over the place. Guitar with one string. Now, Feotus no pipes full band, and EN numbering FIVE(5)! Noise doesn't begin to describe EN. They hit the spot, big time. Banging on everywhichthing. Dude plays a mean shopping cart, huh huh huh. Bass banging balls to the walls, funky scene guitar situation, all classics, beating the classics to death. Funky german lyrics, then at the encore, switch to english speaking mode, guy speaks better englais then I imagine most of you folks due, ay. Ahh, yes, the EN mode, mood, noise, sound, und bedlam! Cranked up to the momma*uck*ng MAX! Factory daze! Packed house, I couldn't even march to the middle, NEXT TIME! EST! KILLER EN!
